Back Cover Blurb:

A widow of eight years, Jordie is devoted to her daughter and knows how to protect her own heart... until Nathan Harper lends a hand when she's punched by a drunkard being forcefully removed from her NYC East Village bar.

Nathan is fascinated by the sassy bar owner, who doesn't recognize him from the Silver Screen and who appears more interested in conversation than sex.

But when shared words spark mutual passion, the menacing phone calls begin, and a stalker, who will stop at nothing to have Jordie, turns his crosshairs on Nathan.

Contains adult language.

My Review:

FINDING JORDIE starts off with a bang and never lets up. It’s so much more than just a romance. It’s gritty and real, romantic and suspenseful. Tough chick, bar-owner Jordie and her gal pal Rachel are an absolute blast (I would love to read a story about Rachel…hint, hint!). They’re outspoken, brash, and real with one another, just like best friends should be. While I’m not a huge fan of books with children, the relationship between Jordie and her smart, sassy daughter was so endearing and fun that I loved them together!

Then enter mysterious and hot Nathan when Jordie least expects it. Jordie’s life suddenly heats up in more ways than one. While they both have baggage (who doesn’t) there’s instant chemistry and you feel every nuance of it. As heat ratchets up between them, the suspense kicks in as a stalker targets first Jordie, then Nathan and they never know what’s coming. The ending will leave you breathless.

Ms. Harley has a fantastic voice and deftly spins a fun and romantic story with excellent characterization throughout. FINDING JORDIE is unexpectedly written in first person POV (which I LOVED) so you really get inside Jordie’s head. You’ll laugh, cry, and scream with Jordie until the last page. I can’t wait to read the sequel and see what’s up next for Jordie and Nathan. I highly recommend FINDING JORDIE.
