I finished my first draft of my Urban Fantasy novel Thirteen on 1/29/08! Woohoo! It came in at 100,250 words. Even though I targeted 90,000 for this one, I had a feeling it would be longer. This novel was fun to write...from one character's point of view. World-building on top of a contemporary world, which means I got to make a lot of my own rules! A satisfying ending that has just enough open hooks to leave the reader salivating for Book 2 (at least I hope so)!
Now onward to first revisions that'll keep me busy through spring...
